Let him go. Let him !?!!! Why’s a book about making up advising me to let him go? That crazy! How can these words even leave my lips? No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But nothing else had worked. I was desperate. It was worth a go, wasn’t it?
So I tried it. I called Jim and apologised and told him I agreed with him. We should go our seperate ways.
And it worked! That was the point at which we started getting back together again. Isn’t that crazy?!!! Who would have thought! I’d spent a fortune on books written by psychologists and counsellors, but their advice did not work. And this T Dub (what a name!) was certainly no expert as far as credentials was concerned. But he certainly knows human behaviour alright!
So who is he?
“T Dub” is the nickname of TW Jackson. He was a military brat, having served in the armed forces since the tender age of 17. Having had to move around so much all his life, he learnt how to get on with people really fast. People from all around the world, from all walks of life.
He became really good at reading people, finding out what makes them “tick”, and even influencing their behaviour! He got such a reputation for this that he was the guy all his friends turned to for advice. Escpecially relationship advice.
As the divorce rate among military couples is higher than norm, he got plenty of experience in giving out advice to couples in trouble, getting them back together again. His techniques are unconventional, but they work! I can bear testament to that!
